CommandSmith 0.3.20

Keyboard Layouts

• Add the optional CommandSmith Power Layout from the Integration Store. New installs keep their normal defaults until you choose it.
• Save keyboard layouts to a local collection, apply a saved layout, and download your current layout to share it.

AI Actions

• AI previews now render LaTeX math.
• Explain asks what to focus on before it runs. Leave it empty for a general explanation.
• General AI Call keeps its result on the clipboard after pasting.
• After a successful "Try Other Model" retry, that provider and model become your default.

Timers

• Countdowns and stopwatches now survive quitting and relaunching CommandSmith. If a timer ends while the app is closed, the alarm goes off at the next launch.

Fixes

• Command shortcuts and the palette now work even when macOS hasn't granted Accessibility access.

Tasks

• See tasks due tomorrow in a dedicated Tomorrow view.
• Edit a task's name, due date and time, priority, estimate, reminder lead time, and notes directly from the task overlay.

AI replies

• Long AI replies now stay within the visible screen and scroll instead of extending beyond the window.

Math in AI replies

• Read inline and display LaTeX equations directly in command palette AI replies, including fractions, roots, matrices, and integrals.
• Math rendering works offline with bundled fonts. Long replies scroll, while code examples and unsupported equations retain their source text.

Continue calculations with ANS

• Press Tab or Shift+Enter on a calculator result to store it as ANS and continue calculating without closing the palette.
• ANS works in arithmetic and LaTeX expressions, is case-insensitive, and retains full numeric precision until the app restarts.
• For example, calculate 1/3, press Tab, then enter ANS*3 to get 1. Enter still copies the result.
